Rep. Brad Hudson, R-138 (Cape Fair), has been named Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations - General Administration. Selected by the Speaker of the House, Elijah Haahr, Hudson will play a key role in the development of legislation assigned to the House Committee on Appropriations - General Administration.

“As a Freshman Representative I am humbled at the confidence Speaker Haahr has placed in my leadership ability by giving me this assignment. During my time as a county elected official, I worked with staff to utilize technology in a way that improved services and also saved taxpayer dollars. I’m looking forward to using my position on this very important committee to do the same thing at the state level,” Hudson said.

The first meeting of the House Committee on Appropriations- General Administration is slated for later in January.
