Hollister Woman Seriously Injured In Stone County Wreck

Laura Kieffer-Konopasek, 50, of Hollister, was seriously injured Monday  afternoon in a crash on Missouri 265 west of Branson. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash happened just after noon on Monday, April 15, at the intersection of Missouri 265 and Stormy Point Road. 


Reuben A. Zapata, 24, of Rogersville, was driving a 2007 Honda Ridgeline north on 265 and attempted to make a left turn onto Stormy Point Road. 


According to the crash report, the Ridgeline hit the front of the southbound 2012 Ford Mustang, driven by Laura A. Kieffer-Konopasek. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt.


Reuben Zapata did not report any injuries in the crash. He was also wearing a seat belt. 


The 2007 Honda Ridgeline and 2012 Ford Mustang both had extensive damage. They were towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing.​
