Historical Author to Speak at Crane Library

June 10, 2021
On Friday, June 18 at 10 am, Author Billy Pearson will speak at the Crane library branch about the Trail of Tears through Missouri. He published a book in May 2020 on the injustice of the forced removal of the Five Tribes from their homelands. Chronicles of a Cherokee Family is a fictional account based on true events. This event is free to attend and no registration is required.
Pearson began his writing career late in life, but has eleven books available on Amazon. Many of them are historical and contain stories about the Ozarks. He will also be giving away a copy of his new book.
As part of the celebration of Missouri’s 200th anniversary as a state, the Stone County Library is presenting speakers who discuss important events that happened in Missouri history. For more information about these events, visit the Stone County Library website www.stonecountylibrary.org
