High School fashion show  report from the Crane Library

March 22, 2018
PictureNine young ladies participated in the Spring Fashion Spectacular on Friday, March 16. Pictured above, from left to right, are: Landri Johnson, Lexie McGlothlin, Kiley Evans, Sandra Bowman (sponsor) Drew Chisam, Julie Steele (Organizer for the Library), Rani Bain, Aubree Chisam, Brianna Deans, Gracie Brawley, and Bobbi LeBlanc.
The Stone County Library’s Spring Fashion Spectacular was a success. We had 9 young ladies participate in the modeling and 27 in attendance. This event was the Stone County Library-Crane’s first program specifically geared towards high schoolers and is an effort to attract more high schoolers to the Library. This event was a success due to the generosity of Sandra Bowman, Bodacious Boutique, J’Lea Boulton, Staci Young, Angie Evans and our wonderful makeup and hair specialists Caitlyn Blades and Samantha Asbell.
The Stone County Library in Crane is planning future programs for high schoolers, with our next event scheduled for April. These programs will be part of our “Life Skills at the Library” series.
