Greene County COVID Patient Visited Branson West

The Taney County Health Department reported Tuesday night, March 31, that a patient that tested positive for COVID-19 in Greene County spent time in Taney and Stone Counties while contagious. The patient had symptoms during the weekend. 

According to updates from the department, the patient was in Branson for Praisefest March 12 to 14. The patient also ate at the Hardee’s Restaurant in Branson West on Friday, March 13, at approximately 5 p.m. and again the next morning, Saturday, March 14, at around 8:45 a.m. 

The timeline for this patient also includes the following: 

Thursday, March 12, 2020, 5:00 p.m.: Shopped at The Copper Coin at the Grand Village Shops. From 6:15 to 10:15 p.m.: attended Branson Praisefest at the Mansion Theatre.

Friday, March 13, 2020, 5:00 p.m.: Dined in at Hardee’s in Branson West. 6:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.: attended Branson Praisefest at the Mansion Theatre.

Saturday, March 14, 2020, 8:45 a.m.: Dined in at Hardee’s in Branson West 10:00 a.m.: attended Branson Praisefest at the Mansion Theatre 12:00 p.m.: shopped at Coleman Outlet store and Leather Trading Co on Gretna road in Branson.

This patient was reportedly symptomatic during Praisefest and over the course of the weekend. The sick individual was seated in the upper right balcony during Praisefest.

“If you were at any of these places on these dates and times and have developed symptoms such as fever, cough or difficulty breathing, please contact your local health department or your healthcare provider,” said the Stone County Health Department. 

“The team has started an investigation to determine who may have been exposed,” said Tiffany Bullock, Public Health Nurse specializing in communicable diseases with the Taney County Health Department.
