Two Gibson Technical Center students placed in the top ten at an international competition. Jason Wasie and Isabella Dilliner distinguished themselves in CPR/First Aid at HOSA’s 42nd Annual International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. HOSA is an organization that prepares students to enter the healthcare field.

Wasie and Dilliner, along with eight other Gibson Tech students, qualified for the competition by finishing in the top three at the Missouri HOSA contest in March. More than ten thousand students from the U.S., Canada and American Samoa attended the international conference to compete, learn and network.

The other Gibson Tech students who attended were Jonelle Graves, Shelby Milburn, Jaline Meeks, Carissa Fordyce, Sophi Hayward, Brandon Bjorge, Andrew Highfill and Colby Dowdy.

Gibson Technical Center is a career and technical education school that is part of the Reeds Spring School District. It also accepts juniors and seniors from Blue Eye, Bradleyville, Branson, Chadwick, Forsyth, Galena, Hollister, Hurley and Spokane.
