Justice C. Simpson, of Galena, will graduate from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on June 29. He has been assigned to Texas County as part of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
According to a press release from MSHP, new graduates will report to their assignments on July 16.
Governor Michael L. Parson will be a special guest speaker at the graduation ceremony, which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Academy Gymnasium on Friday, June 29. The public is invited.
The 105th Recruit Class, consisting of 26 soon-to-be graduates, reported to the Academy on January 2, 2018, to begin the 25-week training course to become a trooper.
