Crash Report Graphic
August 15, 2019

Isaac Estes-Jones

A Galena man was injured last week after the truck he was driving ran off the side of the road. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Troy D. Colley, 50, of Galena, was driving a 2001 Ford F150 truck on Thursday, August 8, when the incident occurred just after 2 p.m.

The truck was heading east on 176 near the intersection with Bald Eagle Road, east of Galena, when it began to slide. The truck ran off the road and rolled over, hitting an embankment.

Colley, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by ambulance.

The 2001 Ford F150 was totaled in the crash. It was removed from the scene by Johnson’s Towing.

This incident was investigated by Trooper Rickman.
