Isaac Estes-Jones

A Galena man suffered minor injuries after turning his truck into the path of another in Christian County last Thursday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jeffrey D. Daniels, 48, of Galena, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado north on US Highway 160 in Highlandville when the crash occurred just before 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 24.
Daniels was attempting to turn onto Route O and pulled into the path of a 2016 Ram 1500, driven by a 16 year old male from Rogersville. The Ram hit Daniels’ Silverado. Daniels had minor injuries in the crash. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by a private vehicle. The 16 year old did not report any injuries.  Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.
The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado was totaled and towed by Out of Sight Towing. The 2016 Ram 1500 was also totaled and was towed by Ozark Tire and Auto.
This crash was investigated by Trooper D. B. Blankenship .
