Galena Cemetery Clean Up Day May 11

May 2, 2019

Cemetery clean up day coming Saturday, May 11.

We need volunteers. We hope you can join us in making the cemetery beautiful. Mark your calendars for May 11, starting at 9:00 am–?

In case of rain, May 18 will be the back-up date

We need volunteers to pick up limbs, rake, blow leaves, haul dirt and fill holes, pick up flowers or other debris, weed eating and other work/repairs as needed.

When you arrive, we will let you know what we need and supply you with tools. If you have your own rakes, weed eaters, or shovels, bring them. Don’t forget your work gloves!

Bring a sack lunch–water will be provided.

All decorations that are to be saved should be picked up by their owners no later than May 10, 2019. Items that remain will be removed.
