Galena Bears Basketball with Two Big Victories This Week

December 17, 2020
On Tuesday of last week, both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams hosted Berryville at home. The girls won 46-41. Leading scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were Riley Arnold with 18 points and her sister, Avery Arnold with 11 points. The boys fell short with a final score of 31-48. Isaiah Mitchell was the leading scorer with 15 points. The boys also took on Hollister Friday at home and fell 62-30.
This week, the Lady Bulldogs will play at Miller on Monday and at home on Thursday against Strafford. The Boys will be at Cassville on Tuesday, at Exeter on Thursday and then back at home on Friday against New Covenant Academy.
Coming up, the Lady Bulldogs will also play in the annual Pink and White Lady Classic in Springfield. The Lady Bulldogs will be in the White Division and will play Parkview at Kickapoo High School at 2:30 on December 28th.
