Fishing Tournament Benefits Prom Goers
October 22, 2020
"The boats participating in the Crane Project Prom Fishing Tournament headed out at 7 am Satur- day and everyone made it back in time for the 3 pm weigh-in, hoping to score first place.
The top honors were clenched by Mike Anderson and Matt Jones. Runners up, Jim Woodward and Randy Looney still had a great day out at the lake. The very respect- able third place spot on the podium went to Lynn Kennedy and Tim McCormick while The coveted Big Bass prize was award- ed to David Rice and Elias Williams." "The proceeds from this fundraiser will be do- nated to Crane’s Project Prom, a drug and alcohol free event coordinated by two of the student’s parents, Crane’s own Cara McMenamy and Angie Evans.
Project Prom, designed to provide a safe but fun time for promgoers who aren't yet ready to call it a night. The afterparty takes place after the actual High School Prom. Project Prom will provide a safe place for kids to get together after prom where they usually stay up all night and go different places for ac-
tivities, etc."
