EmpowerU Money Management Course Set For Crane

August 29, 2019
EmpowerU LogoThe free 10 week money management course is open for registration now.
On Wednesday, September 4, First Baptist Church in Crane will be hosting a free money management course for individuals and families, called EmpowerU. This course is supplied by local non-profit, Love INC and focuses on personal finance topics such as: Budgeting, Savings, Organization, Accountability and much more. The mission of EmpowerU is to help participants live, budget and spend in a way that coincides with Biblical Truth using a system of accountability and resources.

Registration for this class is officially open and will be offered at no charge to the participants. As mentioned, the first class will be held Wednesday, September 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a free meal beginning at 5:30 p.m., prior to the start of class. This is a 10-week course in personal finance and each week a new topic will be discussed as participants make progress through their financial journey. There are multiple ways for participants to register for the course: 1) Contact First Baptist Church–Crane directly at (417) 723-5273; 2) Visit the church’s sign up page online at www.fbccrane.wixsite.com/financial-freedom; or 3) Contact Love INC by phone at (417) 336-7056 or email max@omcloveinc.org.

Most recently, Love INC hosted a successful class in Forsyth in which 100% of students that went through the course were able to receive their EmpowerU Graduation diploma. The EmpowerU program has helped dozens of individuals pay off thousands of dollars in debt and create a sustainable plan for their money as they continue to reach their goals. In addition, families have been restored and relationships have been strengthened by the lessons learned in cooperation and practicing effective stewardship.

The class is hosted by First Baptist Church – Crane using curriculum provided by Love INC. Attendance at the EmpowerU courses has been consistent over the years, however, due to the efforts of First Baptist Church- Crane, the volunteer facilitators, Love INC and The Family Project, there is hope that this particular class will be the largest and most effective one to date. Anyone who finds themselves living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay off debt, feeling enslaved by the pressure of trying to make ends meet every month, or simply wants to learn more about how to most effectively manage their income would benefit greatly from the sense of control, hope and financial freedom that this course offers.

First Baptist Church–Crane and Love INC are requesting that any individual, family, or friends of those who may be struggling reaches out through one of the many resources to get signed up for this class.

Details, questions or concerns may be directed to either First Baptist Church – Crane or Love INC.
