Man Thrown From Truck In Carr Lane Crash

A Shell Knob man was reportedly thrown from his truck after the vehicle ran off the road over the weekend. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Colton L. Finch, 22, was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 south on Highway 39 when the crash occurred on Saturday, January 12. 


At around 11:40 p.m., the vehicle ran off the side of the highway about two miles north of Carr Lane in southern Stone County. After the truck ran off the road, it flipped several times, eventually ejecting the driver. 


Colton Finch suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt. He was akent o Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. 


The 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 was totalled int he crash. It was towed by Chris’ Towing, of Lampe. 


This incident was investigated by Trooper T. A. Bible, of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
