An 18 year old Crane man, Ryan T. Hall, was injured on Thursday, August 15, after reportedly running a stop sign on a bicycle. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Hall was riding a Roadmaster bicycle southbound on north Main Street when the incident occurred at around 2:50 p.m.

The report states that Hall failed to stop at a stop sign and continued across highway 413/265 (Rose Ave.). The bicycle was hit by a westbound 2005 GMC pickup, driven by Rebecca M. Daugherty, 44, of Billings.

Ryan Hall, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

Daugherty, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was not injured in the crash. The 2005 GMC pickup she was driving had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

The Roadmaster bicycle Hall had been riding was totaled in the crash and was left at the scene.
