Crane woman killed in crash in northern Arkansas

A Crane woman is dead after a crash in Searcy County, Arkansas.
According to a news reports from KATV in Arkansas, 78 year old Norma Stout, of Crane died in a single-car accident that occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. on May 20, 2022 on Hwy. 65 south of Pindall Arkansas in rural Searcy County.
According to the report, when Searcy County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene they found the road blocked with a GMC Yukon on its side and a telephone pole blocking the highway.
According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred when the driver of the Yukon, Robert Michael Frey 73 of Marionville, veered off the roadway, traveled north down the ditch line, struck a utility pole, rolled over, and came to rest in the northbound lane of Highway. 65.
Frey was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
