Crane Pirates, Lady  Pirates end season at Districts

​March 1, 2018
        The Crane Pirates and Lady Pirates basketball teams ended their seasons at the District tournament last week. 
        The Lady Pirates fell in the second round of the tournament to the Miller Cardinals on Tuesday, February 20. The final score was Miller 63, Crane 57.
        The Pirates made it to the championship game of the District tournament. The final game, against the Blue Eye Bulldogs, was held on Friday, February 23. They lost with 51 against Blue Eye’s 55.
        Congratulations to the teams for a great season and good luck to graduating seniors. 
        With basketball season officially closed, spring sports will be in full swing in the coming weeks. Junior High volleyball starts Monday, March 5, with a home game against Spokane at 6 p.m. 
        ​The Pirate baseball team will see their first action of the season at the Fordland Baseball Jamboree on Thursday, March 8. The first baseball home game will be Friday, March 16 against Charleston at 5 p.m.
