Pirates Win first game in 2018 Invitational

​January 25, 2018
     The Crane Pirates defeated Southwest on Monday, January 22 in the first game of the 2018 Pirate Invitational Basketball Tournament. 

     The final score was Crane 79, Southwest 44. The Crane Junior Varsity team also played Monday. They came up short against Marionville with a final score of 46 to 56. 
     The tournament continued on Tuesday, January 23 after presstime with Marionville facing Ash Grove and the Crane Pirates facing Diamond. 
     Crane JV will play Ash Grove on Friday, January 26 at 6 p.m., with Diamond v. Southwest following at around 7:30 p.m. 
     The final day of the tournament is Saturday, January 27. The fifth place game will be held at 1 p.m. Third place will be decided following that game at 2:30 p.m. 
     The championship game of the tournament will be held at 4 p.m.
