A 21 year old Crane man suffered minor injuries after his vehicle ran off the road when he swerved to avoid a deer.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jordan N. Shephard, 21, of Crane, was driving a 2015 Ford F150 south on Farm Road 1230, about one mile north of Reavisville in Barry County when the crash occurred on Thursday, June 6, just after 9 p.m.

Shephard reportedly swerved the truck to avoid hitting a deer in the road and ran off the right side of the road, hitting a tree.
