Crane Man Charged After Allegedly Breaking Into Home

December 13, 2018

Isaac Estes-Jones

Blake A. Johnson, 36, of Crane, is being held in the Stone County Jail without bond after allegedly breaking into an apartment in Crane and assaulting familial relation.

According to affidavits of probable cause, used in filing charges, Johnson forced his way into an apartment on Belair Court on Tuesday, November 20, at around 10 p.m.

When inside the apartment, in view of the children who reside there, Johnson allegedly pushed the victim, causing her to fall to the ground. He then allegedly slapped her across the face. The probable cause statement says the minor children also made corroborating statements.

Johnson was arrested and booked into the Stone County Jail. He is charged with first degree burglary, endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree (no sexual conduct), and third degree domestic assault. He is being held without bond.
