Crane Lady Pirates Win Districts,
​Several Players Named All-District and All-Conference

The 2018 Class 1 District 9 champion Crane Lady Pirates are pictured above. The Crane Lady Pirates defeated Forsyth to win the District Championships on Wednesday, May 2, at home. The Lady Pirates finished the game with 5 runs to Forsyth’s 3.
All-District Players
The following Lady Pirates softball members were named to the All-District first team: Olivia Edwards - Pitcher; Mackinzie Funcannon - Catcher; Katie Robinson - Outfield; Maggie Vaught and Shelby Ellingsworth - Infield. 
Madison Moreland - Infield and Celsie Killman - Utility were named to the second All-District team. 
All-Conference
​The following members of the Lady Pirates softball team were named to SWCL All-Conference teams: 
First team: 
Olivia Edwards - Pitcher
Shelby Ellingsworth - Infield
Maggie Vaught - Infield
Second team: 
Mackinzie Funcannon - Catcher
Katie Robinson - Outfield
Honorable Mentions:
Trinnaty Cutbirth - Outfield
Celsie Killman - Utility
In addition, Olivia Edwards was recognized as Co-MVP and Mike Morelock was Co-Coach of the Year.
