CHS To Host Veterans Day Assembly

Assembly is Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m.

November 2, 2018
Crane High School will host their annual Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 9. This year, the event will begin at 1 p.m. at the High School. All area veterans are welcome.
The students organizing the event request that veterans bring a photo of themselves during service. All photos will be immediately returned after being scanned. “These photos will be displayed in the yearbook for this school year,” says Andrew Johnson, a member of the CHS Student Council.
A cake reception, hosted by the TeenAge Republican Society, will follow the assembly. “The cake reception [is for] any veteran to participate in if they want,” says Johnson.
Crane Student Council and the whole student body look forward to honoring our area veterans.
