Crane FBLA Attends Districts

Members of the Crane High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter recently attended the 2019 District 5 FBLA Leadership Conference held on February 2 at New Site Baptist Church.


FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. Over 250 members and advisers representing 13 chapters throughout the Southwest Missouri met to elect district officers, transact business for the district and compete in the district leadership awards program.


Delegates representing the Crane Chapter in the district competitive leadership awards program were:


Mackenzie Myers - 1st place Intro to Public Speaking


Madison Hicks - 2nd place Business Communications


Drew Johnson - 2nd Networking Concepts


Chase Baxter - 3rd Business Communications


Drew Johnson - 4th Cyber Security


Katie Robinson and Chesney Essary - 4th Emerging Business Issues


Danielle Cutbirth - 6th Intro to Business Communications


Mackinzie Myers - 7th Intro to Business Communications


Dexi Montes - 8th Intro to FBLA


Lauren Akin -  9th Intro to Business Communications


Mackenzie Myers, Madison Hicks, Drew Johnson and Chase Baxter, 1st – 5th place winners, will represent District 5 at the State Conference in Springfield, April 14-16.
