Crane couple injured in deer motorcycle crash
Two people from Crane received moderate injuries when they struck a deer near Cape Fair.
Brad Cook, 52, of Crane, was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he and and his wife, Michelle Cook, 53, also of Crane, hit the deer five miles north of Cape Fair on MO Hwy. 173, on Friday, June 23.
The Cooks suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by EMS.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report the Cooks were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
