One person was hurt in a crash in Reeds Spring last week. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Alvis L. Harrison, 77, of Galena, was driving down Highway 76 in Reeds Spring when the crash occurred on Thursday, April 2.

At around 12:20 p.m. last Thursday, Harrison was driving a 2012 Honda Fit east on Highway 76. Matthew L. Hembree, 48, of Reeds Spring, was driving a 1997 Ford F150 south on Main Street. The Honda Fit hit the F150 in the passenger side. It is unclear from the crash report what the state of the traffic light at the intersection was when the crash occurred.

Avis Harrison, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries in the collision. He was taken to Cox Branson Hospital by EMS for treatment.

Hembree did not report any injuries in the crash. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash. The Honda Fit was towed by Chris's Towing. The F150 was removed from the scene by Whitworth Towing.
