Clever High School Principal Joe Cassey invites the community to visit the high school on Thursday, February 28, for their second “A Little Bit of Everything” showcase in the commons area.
“The event started last year when we were trying to make spring conferences more interactive and successful,” Cassey said. “So, we decided to build a showcase event to let parents and others know about some of the projects and activities the students have been doing in their classes.”
The event, which is a come and go style, will last from 3:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. “We will have a free meal for the first 200 or so people,” Cassey said.
Cassey highlighted some of the projects visitors will encounter. “We are having a senior art show, where the students can show and talk about their work. One class listened to the “Serial” podcast and had projects based around what they thought. There are going to be so many great projects on display.
“I’m really confident in what the future holds because I see it every day with our students,” Cassey said.
