Paul Christianson, accused of assaults at the nursing home in Crane in 2018, waived his right to a jury trial last week.
Online court records indicate Stone County Prosecutor Matt Selby, Christianson, and his attorney Reidar Hammond, appeared before Judge Goodman on July 8 for a pre-trial conference.
A jury trial was scheduled to begin July 10, but that trial was canceled after the court accepted Christianson’s waiver of a right to a trial by jury.
Christianson is now scheduled to a bench trial before Judge Goodman on December 11, 2019. His next scheduled court appearance is in November for a pre-trial conference.
Paul Christianson is accused of two counts of rape or attempted rape in relation to events at the Ozarks Mountain Regional HealthCenter in Crane in June of 2018.
