Cape Fair Woman Loses Life In Single Vehicle Crash

A Cape Fair woman lost her life over the weekend after her truck ran off the road in Cape Fair. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Tammie S. Delong, 55, was driving a 2016 Ford F150 west on Highway 76 when the incident occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 5.
According to the report, the pickup ran off the left side of the roadway at around 2:40 a.m. The truck hit a rock bluff.
Tammie Delong was pronounced deceased at 3:29 a.m. by John Cunnyngham, Stone County Coroner. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident. She was taken to Stumpff Funeral Home. This was Troop D’s 86th fatality for 2019.
The 2016 Ford F150 was totaled in the crash. It was towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing.
This incident was investigated by Trooper K. R. Waters.
