Cape Fair Eagles Turkey Shoot, Chili Cook-Off And Car Show October 20

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Cape Fair Aerie 4278 will host their annual turkey shoot, chili cook-off and car show on Saturday, October 20, in Cape Fair. All proceeds go to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The event will see the return of the Daisy BB Gun Turkey Shoot. The shoot is open to all ages and there will be one turkey, or ham if available, given out every 10 shooters. All BB and safety equipment is provided. There will be trained range masters. The cost is $2 for four BB shots.
The car show is free to the public but people’s choice ballots are available for $1. Vehicle entry is $25. Entry to the car show includes a chili tasting kit. Limited to 75 vehicles. There will be awards for people’s choice, best classic car, best truck and best custom/hot rod/theme.
The chili cook-off is open to individuals and business teams. Individual team entry is $10 and business teams are $20. Public tasting kits are available for $5. The tasting kits include bowls, spoons and people’s choice ballots.
There will also be music by D.J. Shylah and others.
