Campbell Signs To Play Basketball For Evangel

​April 29, 2020
​Evangel men's basketball announces the addition of Tyler Campbell to their 2020 class.

Campbell is a 5-8 point guard from Crane. In his senior year at Crane High School, he averaged 19 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg, and 2.3 spg. During his prep career, he was a two-time All-State, three-time All-Conference First Team, Conference MVP, three-time Crane tournament MVP, and three-time All district player. His team were Conference Champs, Crane tournament champs, Diamond tournament champs, and Runners up in districts during his tenure with the team. He also was a four-year letter winner in basketball.

He played his travel basketball with the Missouri Flight out of Springfield. With this team, he was named a Prep hoops top defender and a Prep hoops floor general.

Academically, Campbell was a member of the National Honor Society. Upon enrolling at Evangel, he plans to major in Criminal Justice.
