Boys Basketball SWCL All-Conference Teams

March 7, 2019


Stone County players and coaches received top honors in the 2018-2019 boys basketball all-conference teams from the Southwest Central League. Andrew Mitchell, a Blue Eye senior, was named Conference MVP. Defensive Player of the Year is Wes Branstetter, a junior at Crane. Crane’s Kevin Smith was named Coach of the Year. 


All-Conference first team members are: Isaiah Bean, senior, of Spokane; Tyler Campbell, junior, from Crane; Isaiah Smith, sophomore, from Crane; Nathan Garnett, junior from Blue Eye; and Collin Teague, senior from Sparta. 


Second team members are: Dawson Sherer, junior, of Galena; Colton Plowman, sophomore, from Billings; Zayne Galea, sophomore, from Spokane; Osiel Aldava, sophomore, from Purdy; and Bobby Brown, senior from Billings. 


All-Conference honorable mentions go to: Fenando Garcia, senior from Purdy; Jackson Bray, sophomore, of Spokane; Wyatt Snelson, sophomore, from Galena; Wes Branstetter, junior, of Crane; Jake Reagan, junior, of Blue Eye; Josh Whitchurch, senior, of Sparta; Cruz Marquez, freshman, from Southwest; Austin Pippin, sophomore, of Southwest; and Tyler Essick, a senior from Billings.
