Box Truck Hits Trees At Branson Belle Entrance

            A Reeds Spring man was injured on Monday, August 13, after running off the road near the entrance to the Showboat Branson Belle. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Riley E. Mclemore, 23, of Reeds Spring, was driving a box truck south on Missouri 165 when the crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Monday. 
            Mclemore was driving a 1999 GMC 3500 box truck. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and hit multiple trees. 
            Mclemore, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries.  He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by Taney County Ambulance Service. 
            The 1999 GMC 3500 box truck was totaled in the crash. It was towed by Larry’s Towing. 
            This incident was investigated by Trooper B. R. Dehaan.
