Bowling lands first place in Cape Fair bass tournament

Wesley Bowling takes home top honors with a first place win and Big Bass awards.
On Sunday, December 27, 19 boats set out for a great day of fishing at Table Rock Lake. Several limits were weighed, with Wesley Bowling topping the field with his 17.76 pound string. His limit was anchored with the day’s Big Bass, a 5.74 pound fish. First place paid $530.10 with an additional $190.00 for Big Bass. Second place went to our last tournaments winner Chet Van Grundy with a five fish limit weighing 16.26 pounds. His limit included second Big Bass, a 5.60 pound Bass. Chet won $294.50 for second place and $40 cash sponsored by Branson West Marine, and a new Lew’s reel sponsored by Lew’s Fishing. Third place went to Kelly Power and David Rice, their limit weighed 15.00 pounds. Third place paid $235.60. Fourth place went to the team of Jacob Wade and Justin Garner, their five Bass weighed in at 14.80 pounds. Fourth place paid $117.80. Thank you to all the teams that fished.
