June 13, 2019

Isaac Estes-Jones

A Blue Eye teenager was hurt over the weekend after her vehicle ran off the road and rolled over near Blue Eye. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the 17 year old female was driving a 2014 Nissan Versa east on Missouri Highway 86 when the crash occurred on Saturday, June 8.

The Versa ran off the right side of the roadway near the intersection of Highway 86 and Shady Maple Road. The vehicle hit an embankment, went airborne, landed and flipped over before coming to a stop.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment.

The 2014 Nissan Versa was totaled in the crash. It was towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing.
