Blue Eye Middle School hosts SWCL Art Show

Blue Eye High School junior Sophia Palumbo-Lins won first place for ceramics and “Best of Show” for 9-12 grade.

On Saturday, Blue Eye Middle School hosted the SWCL Art Show. Several students K-12 participated by submitting artwork to be judged. Sophomore, Allison Butler won 2nd place in Mixed Media Relief, 2nd place in Opaque Painting, 3rd place in Printmaking, and 3rd place in Colored Drawing. Senior, Alisha Lankton won 2nd Place in Printmaking and 2nd place in Black and White Drawing. Junior, Michelle Palumbo-Lins received Honorable Mention for Transparent painting, 2nd place for Sculpture and she won 1st place for Opaque Painting. Freshman, Kieryn Fairchild won 2nd place in Mixed Media 3D, and she received honorable mention for Opaque Painting. Sophomore, Harley Sandusky won 3rd place in Opaque Painting.  And BEHS junior, Sophia Palumbo-Lins (pictured) won 1st place for ceramics and "Best of Show" for grades 9-12.
