Blue Eye Girls Track Recognized By County For State Win

The Blue Eye Lady Bulldogs state champion track team were recognized with a proclamation from the Stone County Commission on Thursday, May 30. In their second year as a team, they were able to win at the State tournament in Jefferson City. “The whole county is proud of what you accomplished,” said Southern Commissioner Hank Smythe. Pictured above, from left to right, are Hank Smythe, Coach Kyle Turner, Taylor Arnold, Braylynn Siercks, Kohnnar Patton, Riley Arnold, Kenzie Hobbs, Avery Arnold, Wayne Blades, Kyla Warren and Mark Maples. Not pictured are Madison Box and assistant coaches Ken Effrink and Taylor Wittl.
