Association Accepting Bids To Mow Galena Cemetery

Galena Cemetery Association of Galena are taking bids for mowing and trimming the grounds of the Galena Cemetery located on Cemetery Road in Galena. Bidders should get bids submitted by April 12, 2019 to Galena Cemetery C/O Della Stewart PO Box 182 Spokane, MO 65754 or contact Angela Foster 417-880-6357 to deliver in person. The following tasks are required all grass within existing cemetery borders shall be mowed and trimmed. All grave markers should be trimmed. 


The Cemetery and families will be responsible for removing flowers from grave markers so that trimming can be performed. If flowers aren’t removed prior to mowing it is the responsibility of the families to keep their markers trimmed. Mowing and trimming will be required every two weeks or at least twice per month as needed. The Cemetery reserves the right to terminate agreement if mowing and trimming is not completed as stated. The Cemetery will not be responsible for accidents or injury and contractor should provide his or her own liability insurance.
