A benefit meal and baked goods auction will be held on Saturday, February 23, in Blue Eye, for an area man fighting liver cancer. The event will start at 5 p.m. in the Table Rock Sportsman’s Association Community Building on Missouri 86/13, at Blue Eye.

Jordan McNair, 34, son of James McNair and Rosilee (Pace) McNair, is battling stage four liver cancer. Information for the event says the cancer is also now in his lung. Jordan, his wife, Christie, and their 16 month old daughter, Addison, live in the area.

The meal will be chicken and noodles with cornbread or vegetable beef soup with cornbread or crackers. Both options also include a drink.

Donations are being accepted and are greatly appreciated.
