A benefit for Stone County Deputy Craig Shirkey was held in Kimberling City on Sunday, October 21.
Over 100 people came out to show their support, eat a catfish dinner and purchase items in the silent and live auctions.
Stone County Deputy Criag Shirkey suffered a career ending injury in the line of duty in January 2018. Since then, he has been receiving only two-thirds of his salary through worker’s comp. “This means more than I could ever say,” Shirkey said. Anyone interesting in helping Craig Shirkey and his family can still donate to the Craig Shirkey Fund at Table Rock Community Bank.
