June 21, 2018
Charlea Estes-Jones
A crash four miles southeast of Aurora resulted in injuries for the driver on Monday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Crystal A. Ricks, 22, of Crane, ran off the road and hit a tree around 7:45 p.m. on June 18.
Ricks was driving a 2007 Ford Taurus southbound on Farm Road 2012 near Aurora. She ran off the roadway on a curve, struck a fence and a tree.
Ricks was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for moderate injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Taurus was extensively damaged and towed from the scene by Hillbilly Towing, of Marionville.
