Isaac Estes-Jones
A 24 year old from Rogers, Ark., was injured on Saturday, May 19, after she fell over in a boat on Table Rock Lake. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol boating incident report, Elizabeth C. Bishop, 24, of Rogers, suffered moderate injuries in a pontoon boat Saturday when she stood up and subsequently fell over in the boat.
The incident occurred at 3:45 p.m. just west of Moonshine Beach in Stone County. According to the report, Bishop stood up in the 2015 Harris Pontoon 24’ Aluminum boat while it was drifting and she fell over.
The boat had no damage and was piloted from the scene. At the time of the incident, no one was behind the wheel, according to the report.
Elizabeth Bishop had moderate injuries from the fall. She was taken to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment.
This incident was investigated by Trooper A. Rickman.
