An Oldtime Christmas At The Museum
December 12, 2019
Remember when toys didn’t need batteries or remote controls? Come to the Stone County Historical/Genealogical Society Museum at 103 Main Street in Crane to view a collection of old time sleds, toys and dollhouses. The museum is open on Thursday 10-4 and Saturday 10-2. We also have the Stone County History books and other books from local authors.
The Society will be meeting on Saturday, December 14, for a Christmas party. If you so desire, bring cookies or other snack foods. Drinks will be provided. Our program will be “Essential Oils.” This should be informative as oils have been used since Biblical days for various things. If you wish, a small gift can be made for $5.00. Everyone is invited to attend as our meetings are open to the public.
The Museum will be closed the weeks of Christmas and New Years, but can be accessed by appointment by calling 417-230-0800. Dues are now due. There will not be a January meeting.
