7th annual Great Bowls of Chili Cook-Off raises funds for Outreach of Love

February 1, 2018
       Kathy Davidson, with the Crane Outreach of Love charity, announced the various awards given out at the Great Bowls of Chili chili cook-off on Saturday, January 27. 

       “It was a little smaller turnout than in some years, but we still had a good amount of people and raised some money,” Davidson said. 
       The Judges and Kid’s Choice winners are listed below the pictures of the judges. The People’s Choice winner was Porter’s Supermarket. Second place went to Jim Farrow and third place to Bruce Belin. 
       
Kid’s Choice went to Bruce Belin, second place to Jim Farrow and third place to Team Tiger.
       Judge's Choice awarded third place to Bruce Belin, second place to Jim Farrow and first place to LJC HVAC/R.
       Winners of other categories:
       Hottest: LJC HVAC/R
       Unique: Santa Clause
       Toot Toot: 1st Home Bank
       Highest Price Dessert: Joy Wilson
       Best Table: Stone County Publishing
       Funds raised at this event were used to buy a new dunk tank for warm weather events.
