2018 Crane FFA State Participation

On Thursday, April 19, Elijah Wilson, Garrett Jones, Preston Crume, Hailey Minton, Lydia Crume and Trevor Funcannon left along with Mrs. Baugh to attend the State FFA convention in Columbia.
There were over 6,000 attendees, and governor Mike Parson addressed the group on Thursday evening.
Preston Crume was awarded his State FFA Degree and his Area 12 Beef Production Entrepreneurship plaque.
Elijah Wilson was awarded his Area 12 Dairy Production Entrepreneurship plaque.
The Crane FFA Booster organization sent funds to pay for two meals, one being a dinner at G&D’s Steakhouse and the other being Cici’s Pizza.
The Members served at the State FFA Convention by helping in the career show with Courtesy Corps.
Garrett Jones and Hailie Minton represented the Crane FFA as our official voting delegates for our business meeting.
Trevor Funcannon and Lydia Crume were able to participate in an initiative program “Tagged to Teach Ag,” which helps identify the need for Agriculture Teachers across the state and how these students would benefit from the profession.
