$100,000 Bond Set In Domestic Assault Case

            A Reeds Spring/Branson West woman is being held in the Stone County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash-only bond after she allegedly seriously injured her ex. 
            According to affidavits of probable cause, used to bring charges against her, Crystal Lewis went to the home of her ex in Galena on Thursday, August 30. She allegedly got drunk and threw a glass jar at her ex. The victim told Deputy Wolfe, of the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, that the jar hit him in the back of the head then hit his 3 year old daughter in the eye. According to the cause statement, the child’s face was covered in blood and the child was taken to the hospital by medics for treatment. 
            Crystal Lewis was arrested and booked into the Stone County Jail without bond. Lewis appeared in Stone County Circuit Court on Tuesday, September 4. Her bond was set to $100,000 cash-only. She is charged with one count of first degree domestic assault with serious physical injury, one county of first degree domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child with physical injury. Lewis will next appear in Stone County Court on September 18.
